Our Inspiration (Azuki + Naruto)

Kitsune's art is a love letter to two major influences: Azuki and Naruto.

Azuki set the standard for clean, anime-inspired NFT art with bold lines, vibrant colors, and streetwear aesthetics. Their minimalist yet expressive style became the blueprint for what modern NFT art could be. As one of the first NFT projects many of us encountered in Web3, Azuki showed us that digital collectibles could be beautiful, culturally resonant, and community-driven.

Naruto introduced us to the legend of the nine-tailed fox - Kurama, the powerful beast sealed within the main character. The themes of transformation, inner strength, and legendary power deeply resonate with what we're building. Naruto taught us that true power comes from embracing who you are and the bonds you create with others.

By blending Azuki's art style with Naruto's nine-tailed mythology, we've created something unique: fox spirits in human form, walking the streets, each with their own story to tell.
